Medscribbler product line expanded, including a Free EMR

BrunMed, Inc. announced today the expansion of the Medscribbler electronic medical record (EMR) product line. Five new products are being introduced and the original Medscribbler has been re-named as Medscribbler Open Source. Medscribbler Open Source is available to physicians as a free web site download.

The new products are Medscribbler Pro, Clinic Pro, Enterprise and Custom. Each is designed to address the issues faced by physicians from small solo practices to large hospitals with legacy systems needing upgrading to current technologies. All the new products continue with Medscribbler`s emphasis on work flow efficiencies using handwriting and handwriting recognition as a solution to physician mobility.

Medscribbler was tested by Qualitylogic for stability and robustness to meet the requirements for inclusion in the Microsoft® Tablet PC Application Catalog. Medscribbler Open Source meets these same requirements using the Microsoft® MSDE database. Features include scheduling, messaging, prescription writing, billing (complete billing with the inexpensive purchase of Ezclaim), voice input, histories, printing etc.
